Jeri has been a professional genealogist for over 15 years. Her specialties are Texas research and applying computer skills to genealogical research. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Genealogical Speakers Bureau. Jeri is also a past president of the Dallas Genealogical Society and has won both the “Volunteer of the Year” and “Award of Merit”. Her memberships include the Collin McKinney Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, a life member of the East Texas Genealogical Society, Dallas Genealogical Society, Southern Kentucky Genealogical Society and Texas State Genealogical Society. Jeri also served as a staff member a Family History Center in Texas.

In her ‘other’ life Jeri is a Sr. Programmer for Fruit of the Loom. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI). She enjoys bringing her interests in computers into the genealogy world where she has led Special Interest Grouss (SIGs) for Dallas Genealogical Society and North TX PC Users Group. Jeri has also been a member of Toastmasters International for over 20 years and has achieved the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster. She also is currently serving as a Association of PC User Groups Regional Advisor. She was an active member of the Association of IT Professionals.

Jeri is available to speak locally within 75 miles of Bowling Green, Ky where she now resides. Any society asking her to speak beyond that radius will be expected to offer both travel costs in addition to her speaking fees due to costs and time needed to commute. Bowling Green is 66 miles from Nashville so that costs should consider both the mileage to and from the airport and air travel from Nashville. Unfortunately, there is no shuttle from Bowling Green that is less in cost than mileage. 

Jeri is also available to speak online via dimdim.com or other online meeting facilities. She is experienced at presenting to online audiences and has equipment to support such presentations. She also has her own projector and can bring her own equipment for presentations for a much smaller fee than renting projectors from hotels or services.
